"I was introduced to Auto Detail by James Cottingham at DK Engineering, Bradley had detailed a Ferrari F40 belonging to them at my storage facility and upon seeing the amazing results achieved I employed him to work his magic on my own prized F40 'Michelotto' engine bay. From this Bradley went on to greatly improve upon the condition of the plexiglass headlights on my very rare 2003 Ferrari 575 GTC 'GT1' race car as the lights were rough, pitted and scratched from it's past life racing at Monza and Estoril. "Bradley from Auto-Detail detailing services were recommended to me by Robin Bartholomew at AutoFarm Porsche. I must say that the end results of the winter protection detail on both cars was phenomenal, leaving the paintwork very smooth, the GT3 was covered in black rubber from track days, which I always find hard to remove and a super reflective finish on both white and silver paintwork, protected by several coats of Zaino sealant. Both interiors were also deep cleaned and treated to the same very high standard as the exterior, cleaning the rear screen on the GT3, which is behind the roll cage! The GT3's track day alloys were also cleaned and waxed ready for next year. All in all an excellent service and I hope to see Bradley in the new year after both cars will have faced the winter at home in Switzerland. "Brad's enthusiasm for detailing is amazing and the results of his work are little short of breathtaking; my Audi A5 had suffered at the hands of the car wash, dirty country roads and bug splatter from long motorway cruising. The car that I collected after three days of indepth detailing was beyond clean, every surface was spotless; the black paintwork had depth and colour that I never seen before, especially in natural sunlight. The leather interior had been deep cleaned/treated and had returned to it's original finish as it had started to become shiney with wear. "After years of hating the results of washing and polishing my Ferrari using the old bucket and sponge and Au****ym polish I decided that I'd better invest in a professional valeter. My internet search lead me to Auto Detail based in Maidenhead, an 80 miles round trip from my home in Oxfordshire, their portfolio of previous work including countless Ferrari's and a very informative Email from them convinced me I was dealing with a company that knew their stuff. "On collection of my F40 from Bradley's studio, I just could not believe the difference. To just say amazing would be vast understatement, the car had been completely transformed. Every last inch of the car been meticulously cleaned and detailed, the myriad of fine swirl marks, scratches had been removed, leaving the finest finish and reflection I've ever seen on the painted carbon weave of an F40. Bradley had also made an incredible difference to the fabric seats which were removed for cleaning, even the difficult pexiglass rear screens clarity has been vastly improved. With Bradley's regular maintence I now hope to keep my F40 in this condition. "I take great pride in my collection of cars and am somewhat obsessive about their appearance, thankfully I was introduced Bradley from Auto Detail by Lee Hickles at Slades Garage when I went to buy the first car in the collection, a Nero Serapis black Lamborghini Gallardo LP640; upon close inspection the paint finish on the car was covered in light swirl marks and imperfections, which became more evident in natural sunlight, spoiling the vehicles overall appearance; but help was on hand, Bradley talked me through and explained the complete detailing, paint correction and waxing processes that would remove these unsightly swirls and also protect the paintwork. A few days later when the Lamborghini was finished I went to inspect the results, the paintwork was flawless, free from imperfections, the shine and depth of the black paintwork were incredible, with not a swirl mark insight. Bradley has now subsequently worked his amazing and very knowledgeable detailing skills on my new red Ferrari 458 Italia and my highly cherished Diamond Black, Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe; the results are always exceptional. I have now have a regular maintenance plan on all three cars to keep them looking their best at all times. "My rare Ferrari 330 GT required some attention to the paintwork, as the once vibrant rosso red had faded over the years. Bradley from Auto Detail came to my offices and assessed the overall paint condition, taking various reading with his paint depth gauge; very impressive! The Ferrari required three days of skilled machine polishing and carnauba waxing; the results? Outstanding!! Bradley even removed the wire wheels so they could be safely cleaned, inside and out by hand. The Ferrari looks as if it has freshly resprayed, Im now faced with the dilema, should I sell her? Which was the purpose of having the work carried out in the first place. Of one thing I am sure, the asking price has gone up. "My black Range Rover looked tired, swirled and dull, "too many machine car washes", Bradley at Auto Detail informed me. I use the car for work, a mobile office and at times for ferrying around my important clients. It didn't give the right impression of my interior design company. "We had a major problem with a solid black Audi A4, in the shade and away from bright light the car looked great but it was a different story in direct sunlight, swirls and holograms covered the paintwork. We tried several possible solutions but all failed, we just couldn't get rid of them, the harder we tried the worse they became. "My cherished Blue Velvet Rolls-Royce Phantom had been valeted by a company using dirty equipment, resulting in scratches and swirl marks covering the entire paintwork, some seemed so deep that I thought the car may need to be resprayed. I contacted the Rolls-Royce Service Centre in Ascot to ask their advice, the Service Manager Kevin Whitaker kindly put me in touch with their detailer, Bradley at Auto-Detail. Bradley came to my London offices to inspect the damage and talked me through the 'paint correction process', at the end he gave his professional opinion that the paintwork was repairable, the car was subsequently booked in through Kevin at Rolls Royce. "A letter to the Editor of BMW CAR Magazine, printed in May 2007 issue. Sirs I have just read the James Lance letter you published re protecting his new M coupe paintwork. I have just taken delivery of my new Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe in Black Sapphire metallic paint. I also was advised by the dealer to have a paint work protection system applied, but having had SEVERE problems in the past with an application of Diamond-Brite on a brand new Aston Martin DB7 I bought in 2002 declined their offer! Last week a young man called Brad Stevens who trades under the name of Auto-Detail (www.auto-detail.co.uk) did the most professional and amazing polish/protection/laquer job on the car (including the Alloys) I have ever seen. "My cherished Blue Velvet Rolls-Royce Phantom had been valeted by a company using dirty equipment, resulting in scratches and swirl marks covering the entire paintwork, some seemed so deep that I thought the car may need to be resprayed. I contacted the Rolls-Royce Service Centre in Ascot to ask their advice, the Service Manager Kevin Whitaker kindly put me in touch with their detailer, Bradley at Auto-Detail. Bradley came to my London offices to inspect the damage and talked me through the 'paint correction process', at the end he gave his professional opinion that the paintwork was repairable, the car was subsequently booked in through Kevin at Rolls Royce. "A letter to the Editor of BMW CAR Magazine, printed in May 2007 issue. Sirs I have just read the James Lance letter you published re protecting his new M coupe paintwork. I have just taken delivery of my new Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe in Black Sapphire metallic paint. I also was advised by the dealer to have a paint work protection system applied, but having had SEVERE problems in the past with an application of Diamond-Brite on a brand new Aston Martin DB7 I bought in 2002 declined their offer! Last week a young man called Brad Stevens who trades under the name of Auto-Detail (www.auto-detail.co.uk) did the most professional and amazing polish/protection/laquer job on the car (including the Alloys) I have ever seen. Not only has he made the metallic flakes stand out in the paint giving enormous depth to the finish, but the completed application is like "glass" beading any water instantly it comes in contact with the car. I won't even attempt to describe the process but perhaps you could forward this e-mail to Mr Lance. I am sure if he wishes to contact Brad and dicuss the matter he will be given the sound advise and options that were given to me, resulting in an astonishing end result by a young man who is gaining a highly recommended reputation.
